CAMBRIDGE CARNIVAL 2025: A CELEBRATION TO REMEMBER

The 2025 Cambridge Carnival, themed “The Cultural Revolution Starts Here and Never Ends,” celebrated the revolutionary legacies of Afro-Caribbean and African American communities, inspired by the origins of Carnival in Trinidad and Tobago, where enslaved Africans transformed oppression into expressions of freedom and cultural pride. This spirit of resistance and unity was at the heart of this year’s celebration, keeping the fight for freedom and cultural empowerment alive.

Rain or shine, the Caribbean spirit prevailed as the community came together to make the 31st Cambridge Carnival a joyful success. With the energy of vendors, volunteers, performers, sponsors, and attendees, not even the rain could stop the celebration—promising that next year will be even bigger, brighter, and more colorful.
